After a successful recruitment campaign, we now have 10 trained volunteers attending boat shows, sailing events and boat jumbles accross the UK. So far, Green Blue volunteers have been invloved in tree planting at Carrickfergus Sailing Club, Coombeswood Canal Trust open weekend and the Irish oat Jumble. There are many more events planned for the summer so keep a lookout for your local Green Blue volunteer!

We are still looking for volunteers in some parts of the country and plan to hold further induction days in the autumn. If you are interested in spending a few days a year meeting people and talking about the project we want to hear from you. Email us for an application form, or if you are holding an event and would like The Green Blue to attend.

March's edition of Motor Boats Monthly started to look at some of these options and gave a practical run-down on suitability and effectiveness. If you missed this edition the articles are now available to download from The Green Blue web site free of charge courtesy of MBM.
