Marine House, Egham, Surrey - Thursday 13th March 2008

Our environment and how to look after it is an increasingly  important issue for everybody, including businesses and is due to become more so with legislation and public opinion focusing on environmental issues.

This half-day course is aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues in the marine industry such as waste, energy and water, managing oil and fuel and pollution prevention. The course will highlight the business case for taking steps to reduce environmental stresses and suggest ways of getting started. It will be presented by our Environment expert, Brian Clark.

The morning will cover the following items:

  1. Waste - how to dispose of specific types of waste
  2. Energy and Water - Efficiency measures
  3. Managing Oil and Fuel
  4. Pollution Prevention
  5. Where to go from here?

The course is a bargain at £25.00 + VAT for BMF members. Can you afford to miss it? It runs from 9:30 - 13:00 on 13th March 2008.
