Marine Businesses encouraged to reduce waste

Are your profits going in the bin, down the drain or up the chimney? A programme to reduce your waste and resource usage could save £4 for every £1 invested.

The Green Blue has teamed up with the Government's BREW scheme to provide free waste, energy and water to marine businesses in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

The Crown Estate supports The Green Blue

The Green Blue has won funding from The Crown Estate's Marine Stewardship Fund. But what is the link with recreational boating?

With around 55% of the foreshore, approximately half of all estuary beds and tidal rivers and the seabed out to the 12 mile territorial limit, the Marine Estate is the largest and most diverse within The Crown Estate.

The Marine Stewardship Fund supports community initiatives that further good management of the marine estate, and in particular practical projects, relevant research, and other initiatives that improve the status and management of the Marine Estate.

The Marine Stewardship Fund is supporting The Green Blue through providing core funding and funding for the Home Countries.
