Wild Scotland Announce Annual Conference


Wild Scotland is delighted to announce its annual conference "Wildlife Tourism: Bucking the Trend" will be held on Thurday 27 November 2008 at SNH Conference Centre, Battleby, Nr Perth.

The exciting panel of speakers, to help lead discussions are confirmed as:

Wildlife cameraman and BBC Autumnwatch presenter, Gordon Buchanan will inspire everyone with why he thinks Scotland's wild

  • Prof Harold Goodwin, Director of the International Centre for Responsible Tourism at Leeds Metropolitan University willhelp place wildlife tourism in Scotland in an international context.
  • Andrew Thin, Chairman of Scottish Natural Heritage will speak about SNH's changing role in supporting and developing wildlife tourismbusinesses in Scotland.
  • VisitScotland will present their position on wildlife tourism, shaped by their marketing activity and their market research.
  • Caroline Warburton, Manager of Wild Scotland will present the wildlife tourism industry perspective.
